AVELO AIRLINES- BACK IN THE MIGRANT TRANSPORT GAME
When I first started tracking migrant flights in July of 2021, Avelo Airlines was a regular player, flying lots of suspected migrant flights from the cities known to be used by the Biden Administration to transport illegal aliens around the country. These are the cities closest to the border as would be expected. The table below reflects the numbers of flights Avelo flew from various border cities and their ending destination cities.
But Avelo is somewhat unique in the migrant trafficking world as it is a “regular” (albeit low price) commercial airline with standard flights and routes. It has routes in the West flying out of Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, CA to a variety of cities throughout CA, OR, WA, ID and NV. Avelo operates two hubs on the East Coast (Orlando, FL and New Haven, CT) and flies to eighteen cities up and down the east coast. Their routes can be seen below:
In February of 2022, Avelo expanded its regularly scheduled flights from New Haven and its migrant charter business started to slow. I stopped following them for a bit which was probably a mistake but recently I checked all their planes again and saw they had a couple of flights in June and July but then in August they picked up even more. I don’t know if this is due to a drop off in their regular commercial business or simply that they had additional capacity and contacted CSI (the contract holder who coordinates all the migrant flights).
Three of Avelo’s nine airplanes had “migrant flights” from the period June 2, 2022 through September 2, 2022.
In June Avelo Reg #N802XT flew from California to El Paso, then on to Jacksonville and then as has occurred so many times previously, on to Westchester, NY, landing at (as is also typical of this operation) at 10:31 PM. The plane then headed right back to its “base” in CA.
July also had flights with the same El Paso to Jacksonville to Westchester pattern (and again with the late night landing in Westchester).
In August we saw an increase to 7 flights but instead of Westchester, these flights went to New York Stewart Airport in New York. Stewart is about an hour north of Westchester so clearly this is being used because of the attention Westchester has received.
You will see in the tables above all the flights started in El Paso and most went through Jacksonville (one went instead through Charleston, SC) and all landing after 6:00 PM.
While these flights were easy to identify as likely migrant flights because we have seen this pattern so often, these are likely not the only migrant flights Avelo has flown since June. With flights landing in cities other than their “commercial flights” I am sure they had more migrant flights.
BUT WHAT ABOUT AVELO’S COMMERCIAL PASSENGERS?
One thing as I reviewed these flights which is different than the typical charter airlines I follow is seeing all the “regular” commercial flights that are interspersed with the migrant flights. Sometimes a migrant flight lands and immediately flies to one of Avelo’s hub cities and then flies a regular commercial flight as seen below:
In the table above the flight on August 7th left Jacksonville at 9:39 PM landing at NY Stewart at 11:53 PM. An hour and a half later the plane left for Orlando arriving at 3:44 AM. Then five hours later it was taming regular commercial passengers from Orlando to New Haven. This is a common occurrence as you can see. But sometimes the times are much tighter as seen below:
In this instance the plane, an hour after dropping off migrants at NY Stewart was going to return to Orlando. But that flight was changed and the plane sent to Tweed/New Haven, landing at 8:54 PM. An hour later at 9:57 PM the plane was taking passengers to Orlando where it landed at 12:08 AM.
CONCLUSION/QUESTIONS:
I wonder how many Avelo fliers are aware that the airline they are choosing is helping to facilitate the Biden Administration moving illegal aliens around the US?
How confident are they that when the plane has less than an hour to be cleaned that it has been cleaned to their satisfaction? We know that many illnesses are brought into the US by the border jumpers at the southern border. Are any of these present on these planes?
Are families flying from New Haven to Orlando to visit Disney and Universal Studios aware that just an hour before, their seats may have held someone trafficking children or be a convicted felon who simply lied about his name and was put on a plane to NY Stewart by the Biden Administration?
I hope passengers make their concerns known to Avelo. You can contact them as follows:
